2018; What a year!

We are on the tail end of 2018, we have had an amazing year, from continuing classes from 2017 to a new plethora of new classes across Dubbo and the Central West. The team has had the chance to reach participants from as close as Narromine to as far as Coonamble and Yeoval. With teaching as many as 10 classes a day in 3 different towns with the team getting to meet and get all ages and abilities moving.

We have had the addition of a new team member Abby, who is going great guns with learning the ropes.

Our major project from 2017 (Liberty Swing, and High Low change table) has been in installed, ready for its first rider.

In term one we had the pleasure of attending a fundraiser for Isaacs's great Kosciusko climb, Tracy also adventured out to Coonamble for two days of AllAbilitiesDanz and Zumba fun, we also had a change of venue for our Aqua Zumba classes as the RSL pool had an unexpected closure, don't worry we'll be back when the pool is ready! Term two we had the performance of a lifetime with Lincoln one of our two special needs instructors; who was chosen to perform in the 2018 Stars of Dubbo dance for cancer where he received the people's choice award. Term three we were granted funding from Fundability who is brought to you by Northcott and funded by the NSW Department of family and community services, to teach a 12 week fully inclusive Zumba class consisting of disabled and able bodied people dancing together; this was a great career achievement for the team and myself. We also had the launch of one of our brand new AAD specialties Belly Infused Fitness which Tracy and Amanda had created from an idea, which is a great core and strength work out. Term four was a great way to end the year, with Tracy heading out to Peakhill to Zumba with some ladies out of the community.

From myself and all of the team at AllAbilitiesDanz, we would like to thank off of our clients, hosts, venders, and most importantly... our participants, the joy that each and every one of our clients we greet is why we do what we do, from seeing babies take their first steps, to immobile elderly people tapping a foot or a finger which carers have never seen them do brings great emotions of joy to the whole team. We are looking forward to seeing you all in 2019!

Happy holiday season everyone! Tracy
